clean clean clean, and Joan D'Ark
boxes that have not been looked into for several years are being emptied and most of the contents tossed in the trash... a bittersweet event, no doubt... but nothing compared to the eventual sorting through of boxes that will occur if I live long enough to get the rest of my stuff out of storage and sort through it all...
and the laundry continues, the cleaning continues, and I've deliberately stayed away from the computer yet another day so I might not distract myself yet another week (because I can't just go on buying new underwear and trying to find a path into my bedroom through piles of dirty clothes, after all, now can I?)...
and for the next few hours (until I fall over into sleep) I intend to read some blogs starting with theonion cuz it's the newest and I want to get to know the place and then, who knows... sleep should come soon though since I didn't sleep yet this weekend... hopefully I won't forget the clothes are in the washer and dryer...
I cry every time I watch Joan of Ark... always wondering how people can get so pathetically self-involved and irresponsibly weak and blind to life and the power mad fools who oppress them... and also wondering if the pious hypocrits simply disrobe Joan or if they go as far as deflowering the maid as well...
and then I look at our current culture of pathetically self-involved irresponsibly weak blind-to-lifers and wonder the same thing, though I am more sure the pious hypocrits deflower the maids nowadays...
but then, perhaps it's the cleaning that brings me to tears... all the self-involved memories of my own irresponsible weakness and blindness, after all...
ah, do you laugh at such irony too or do you remain blissfully unaware?...
may your blessings be as deep and diverse as mine...

Hi candoor, said I'd be back. Joan of Ark. Well now that you got what's her name the Australian super barbie Xena Warrior Princess, makes the wars between little old England & France look a bit pooh pooh.
PS - What was the Airplane joke on Platypus Bill's Blog. Its a long time since I was a kid, so can't see the link. I actually got the story the wrong way around. Thought dad asked the kid what he was doing - and the kid answered watching tv. Laters ... Q
You mean msn messenger? Real Time. Yeah I don't know why people like blog comments. But I guess posting on blogs gives you a chance to post all sorts (write books), post pics/cartoons etc, almost a 'free' webpage. Laters ... Q
