wandering through the past
I spent this weekend (so far) reading letters and rhymes I wrote in late 1993 (I have all of 1994 and part of 1995 still to look at, but there's so much I'll have to skim a whole lot... talk about blasts from the past)... I've been adding some rhymes to various places online and sorting others for addition to other places (I need to hook this computer up with an FTP program and get all the addresses and passwords set up, which takes more time than I wanted to devote to the tasks yesterday... anybody use an FTP program and like it?)...
maybe this is the start of some serious introspection (as opposed to the irreverent narcissistic public babbling I do all the time) and steering correction on this gig I loosely call my life (see what I mean about the irreverence?)...

Live life, Love life, BE LIFE.
Candoor I quite often have vivid dreams. Maybe I sleep too much, maybe I don't "live" enough, but either way, I 'experience' plenty.
Without wanting to philosophise too much, I'll post a comment soon: People are living themselves to death - either experiencing too much, or even wishing they were.
Whereas longevity in most Eastern philosophy is based on detachment from this experiencing or illusion.
Final thought on your introspection: The concept that you only live once is wrong. We relive our lives, or momments of till we get it right. If you are gonna do it, do it right (no, not a nike advert). Do it nice or do it twice, thrice, four times, ...
