just living life, sort of

living is a word with many meanings and in many ways I might say I am surviving, existing, but hardly living... and yet, maybe living is simply about enjoying what you are doing, even if what you are doing is the same old routing and working for others day after day so the bills can be paid with no time for much else ...

I suppose there are those who accept a popular view that living is having enough money to do anything you want when you want to do it, being served fine food, traveling about in fancy places, and not having to answer to anyone for anything...

and then there are those who buy into the work ethic that sells us the theory that nothing is worth anything unless we put out energy and time and effort to get it... I'm not exactly sure what that has to do with living, but then, I'm not exactly sure just what this entry is about either...

so I caught up on a bit of sleep and worked and longed for more sharing and that's about it... life, as I know it these days... I don't love it any less than when I had wealth enough to spend some years wandering about being served fine foods in fancy places, I just share it less...

I miss the sharing most of all...
