sorting through the past

that's where I've been most of the day, between loads of laundry and the continuing process of unpacking old boxes and throwing things away, I've been sorting through old files (from 1993 - 1995) and uploading rhymes to the more rhyming places (poetry?... well, if we broaden the definition, perhaps) and listening to music in between visits from teenager girls who are arguing with the weather because they had plans that did not call for rain and the sky has been showering them with wet love on and off all day...

today is a deliberate rest day in preparation for the 36 hour marathon coming up tomorrow and Monday... I could hurt myself doing this... but luckily I still think, like any child who doesn't know otherwise, that I'm indestructible... so I'll be fine...
