dang Quiznos

actually, it's dang PT Cruiser... ya see, I got home from work after staying an extra hour to get some stuff done and went for salad and then comes along my dear Rasputin tossing me the keys to his new PT Cruiser convertible (which was right off the truck, 13 miles on it) and says let's go...

Quiznos was their destination and I just had to try something new because I don;t remember the last time I was in a Quiznos and, oh, rationalizing my food loving palatte is a waste of time...

the ride was outstanding... top down, wind blowing through my hair, brand new five speed, brand new engine (ok, so it had about 80 miles on it cuz Raspy took it to work and back today, but still, there's something special about driving any brand new car), absolutely beautiful Florida sunset and twilight...

yeah, so I didn't get to the gym and I did not return to a lean diet and that path is growing dimmer with each day I stray from it, but how could I pass up such a beautiful night? (extreme will power?... of course, but then, life is much more than extreme discipline and sometimes a celebration just has to happen on time... like the birthday party at work Wednesday for the director of clinical services and ARNP {my direct boss} being organized by my office-mate... I am just surrounded by people who love to eat and party)... maybe I'll start again Thursday...

I need a vacation from my everyday life cuz it is just too much decadent fun (see me giggle at the stern look the sensible responsible person inside me gives me)...
