online services

I am looking for a new online host for my web world... after being with United Online for about seven years, they've decided to cancel my paid account without notice as of the past hour... I called their customer service number, but they do not seem to be answering even though their recording says it is currently normal business hours...

I haven't had time to resolve some over-billing, domain registration, and email issues I've had with them over the years (and therefore don't used their email or domain services even though I over-pay for those services and this is likely the reason the diaryland emails are spotty in coming through) and this sudden cancellation and pop-up ad assault may just be the final straw...

I apologize for the banner ads and pop ups you experience if you go to my main pages... I'll get a new server when I find a reliable one, until then, or until United Online responds to my email request for assistance, I'll just urge no one to use their services in every post I write wherever I write online...

yeah, that'll teach 'em :)
