good soup

the TV flashes skin, speed, attitude, and bling mixed with pro football highlights to the sound of Jay-Z's latest tribal chants... and while waiting to see if the latest Hollywood sports legend, Hollywood Matt Leinart (but I've admired his style for a while now), can pull off the slight of hand that nobody expected, I got hungry for some flavor and cooked up some fast soup...

a package of frozen chinese vegetables, a can of onion soup, and an assortment of condiments and spices and I just has some of the best not-from-scratch hot and sour soup I've had in a long time (and I love hot and sour soup and over the years I've enjoyed great hot and sour soup regularly at various Oriental restaurants from the high end to small family owned take-out booths)...

life is good...

so instead of focusing on how it can be better (as I do often enough to recognize the repetition), I'll just kick back and enjoy it... relaxing is on time for tonight as tomorrow night is another concert (and for any music lovers, a new schedule will be in an upcoming post, but for now you can find the concert schedule at myspace... tomorrow is alexisonfire {and you can decide whether it is alex is on fire or alexis on fire for yourself} with three other new bands... staying current with the changing music scene is always a pleasure for me and I'm more alive again for getting back into music)...
