sometimes comments are more like posts than posts
may the little kids always find something to beam over J
from Stevi Nicks (when she was Stevie) to Linda Ronstadt to Harry Chapin (did I mention The Beatles?) to so many others (Cindy Bullens comes to mind... and Suzi Quatro and wow, blasts from ancient history, no doubt, yeah, no doubt)... and some I even met up close and personal and a few I even lived with (see some of the goo for yourself, though most remains in on paper in storage just north of Niagara Falls... slowly I turn)... and of course, there's candora where dreams really do come true (no wait, that's Disney, but still mostly hype)... the child inside falls in love with a song, a face, a voice, an image, a dream, a feeling that nothing can touch and only true love in the flesh can surpass...
hey, something's gotta keep my heart beating and dreaming and ready to fall in love at first sight again during these long lonely minutes between relationships, right?...
of course right...
and the clock on the wall says I've got to be up and awake to get my license renewed in the morning (and since they'll probably make me take the vision test, it would be good if I could keep my eyes open and focus), so I really ought to get some sleep... and the myspace blog will not keep me awake into the wee hours like it did a couple of nights ago when I was channelling (or flashing back to) Jack Kerouak and Andy Warhol or Ken Kesey and his electric koolaid or some such odd spirits (that would be the myspace blog entry for October 2nd, in case you didn't get a program)...
and of course Edison and Einstein had something going on in their heads too, with or without additives, which only goes to prove that great minds may not always think alike, but they often work in mysteriously similar ways, snatching seemingly random ideas from what appears to be thin air and sitting back as they coalesce into some profound revelation or rocket-science epiphany...
yes, Margaret, it is all rocket science...
so on that note, I give the stage to one of those brilliant minds who can elucidate much better than I on the subject, our own shining light of the night, quasar... may his light always shine... and yours too...
nite nite J

Suzi Quatro? Wasn't she "Leather Tuscadero" on Happy Days? And I think her Dad, Art, played organ for Detroit Tigers' games.
She's one of those people that may live in the neighborhood now, and I wouldn't realize it.
Hey, glad you didn't take it personal, only making conversation, or trying to make light humour of reality.
Reality sometimes sucks, but water of a ducks back, eh.
Glad you are getting more time off, even if it means less bucks. Alas the eternal paradox how to make less mor & more less.
PS - Thanks for the mention!
Enjoy the full moon and the w/end
welcome Mark :)
I must have fallen asleep and dreamed it, but I could have sworn I responded last night :)
yes, she was Tuskadero (and it softened her for fans of her music, but I liked her taking chances... might not have been the best career move in retrospect, but probably much fun)...
all's well that ends well, Q :)
or as a lesser more musical bard said, what it all comes down to is... I'm poor but I'm happy... and one big reason I am happy is I've got nothing to hide from anymore and can laugh at myself and life's challenges without flinching or feeling sorry for myself again... the ghosts amuse, the wounds are comfortable, the ups and downs of are accepted and appreciated, and life as I know it is resolved and continuing forward... and I appreciate you caring enough to question and tease and be here :)
and may we dance with devils or angels, as we wish, in the full moon light :)
Well, this being Blogger, my extremely long babbling comment was just lost to the cosmos or wherever babbling comments go.
So since it was all pretty irrelevant stuff about Pinky and Leather Tuskadero (and strangely reminiscing about a romantic scene between Pinky and the Fonz that is probably better left in the cosmos of babbling comments), and wistful wishes of having wounds feel comfortable and ghosts being humorous, and something else about Bill Joel I don't remember, I won't try to reconstruct it now, but rather just give lotsa love, hugs, smiles, Yays, and best of luck thoughts on your driving test. My advice would be to keep your eyes open for the vision exam. :)
