body talk
so ten consecutive days of working out (9 gym, 1 Disney) and the body still asks for more when the Deputy comes to lock up... and each night, at least an hour on the lifecycle with increasing levels of resistence and speed (and therein caloric burn)... still not burning anywhere near the 1000 calories I want to set as a nightly goal, but approaching 700 calories burned in 60 minutes... weight loss is all about the calories burned... and since the first gym night (after the 4 day semi-fast), five more pounds were burned off... no big whoop as I'll consider myself satisfied when 32 more go, though people tell me to be happy with less cuz the body doesn't look that over-weight due to it's proportions... I know better... when I reach the 180 mark, I'll consider how much further to go... when I arrived in Florida 17 years ago and started running consistently again, I was 162... during the bike trip (from Detroit to Chicago via northen Michigan and Wisconson) when this body was 147... those were teenage years when I was running marathons and averaged 100 miles a week...
the body has these memories...
this is where this post ends because blogger did not save it as it is supposed to and it ate it... it was one of the best most motivating positive (for me, at least) posts I have written in years... the communication was not meant to be...
g'nite...

i expect serenity will give you a lecture on "you are too hardcore, man!" "slow down already, dood!" and so on, but yeah, i should like to increase my calorie burning as well, too bad your tony robbins shpiel was cut short.
Rebel yell
"she cried, more more More!"
it really was one of my best self-motivating sschpiels in a long long time and I felt like it was one that would reach others, even human beings... and I don't feel like it was just ego talking to me... alas, the best we can do is the best we can do and sometimes we just keep it to ourselves...
and yeah, I'm still reaching for more, more more :)
