this wasn't today

so ok, i was wadering (or wandering) myspace in the middle of the night and came across some orlandonians (even though i don’t update the site, it’s still mine, my word, my world, rah rah he, i mean ha… wait, i think i’ve lost my original thought… is there an original thought?... what was it, anyway?... was it in a parentheses?... the parentheses wants to know)… so there they were, a whole dozen or more pages of Orlando peeples on myspace… so i started sending out random friend requests and found somebody was already my friend and found that so amusing or inspiring or something that, well, i wrote this:

what?... you're already one of my friends?... how did that happen?... when?... why?... probably cuz i sent you a request in one of my manic "add everyone connected to everyone i like by six degrees bacon and egss, or something like that...

i think i was jewish once, or passed for one, and your sense of humor is pretty cool for an old jewish guy, so i decided to write you a letter...

thank you for the amusement of your profile verbage, you can carry on with your life now as if this never happened or you could call and yell at me for disturbing your peace or you could laugh with me at the odd absurdity of strangers being friends on myspace and who knows, we might have something in common and become friends in the real world, wherever that is...

as i know some people going (through meetup dot com, which is more fun than chopped liver and much better for spreading on a social life), i am thinking about walking over to firkin & kegler to watch people watching the superbowl on a 22 foot screen while bowling and eating fried foods, then i might go to the gym and taunt the heart attack gods once more...

yeah, so whatdya know (or think), i mean, what would you have done if you received that?... well, the W was an obvious humorous retort, i mean, unless you are a blind deaf and dumb republican… i say that out of respect to republicans…

and ok, so it wasn’t the middle of the night, i had that wrong… it was superbowl sunday and i was doing laundry and browsing the web between loads… i hadn’t reconnected the tv to the five channels available on soo to be gone analog tv yet… those were exciting times…
