a day without chocolate
while glancing at football on TV
and munching on pizza, calzone, and a sub
but they burnt the crust, ahhh, there's the rub...
yes, the favorite pizza place blew it this time... every now and then it happens... not veryone who works there knows how to cook, especially not the particular specialty pizza I order... last time I called and complained and they sent me a new one for free, made fantastic... I let them go this time but will mention it to the owner next time... consistency will keep me coming back, but right now I'm ready to try another track... and the crust was too tough, left in the oven too long... perhaps oven too hot or just not cleaned well enough, you know, when the black burnt taste leathers the bottom of the dough?... Italian cooks would know...
the football was ok, background noise mostly, not as exciting as the Boise State game last week... expected teams won, though it took a rookie mistake for one of them... congrats friends from Seattle and Indy... good luck tomorrow if that's when your team is playing...
during the second game Precious returned with Dreamer and Truman, her current long term addictions, and they had Robin WIlliams On Broadway in their hands so we watched it... the genius is always welcome in my mind...
yes, a day without chocolate and all is well (though the computer is acting up again, but functioning enough to get the words out, though spellchecker is gone... maybe it needs chocolate, but I'm good on a brief break)... a bit of cleaning happened earlier and the babbling and sweet relaxation inspiring peaceful smiles and that's today... hope your Saturday was smiling at your end of the line... back to babbling now, upload coming later... perhaps a myspace visit as well... if only I could transport across space and time, but just the thought is a smile for me... too much patience, perhaps, but enough hope and optimism to enjoy the wait doing what I love to do... I wish the same for you...
