brain drain
I did get to the concert today, though just making the very end of the VIP party (in time to grab some free food, but not in time for the free CD or any other goodies)... that was as much me as it was Rasputin as I forgot to get up early enough to make a stop at the bank to drop money in for Minnie (who is between jobs again) before the concert... I did make it to the bank a minute before they locked the doors... and I bought a CD and got Shari to sign it...
Raspy and I took a walk around downtown for an more than an hour after the concert and were tempted by one of the festivals called (I think) Taste of the Town put on by the Talk of the Town Restaurant Group, but at $15 a sampler plater, we decided against it... that economical decision seemed to be forgotten about an hour later when we decided to go to a downtown Chinese Restaurant Rasputin picked (cuz he's in the food business and is supposed to know his restaurants) and I ordered a duck dinner and a seafood roll appetizer...
after coming home, it wasn't long before I was drifting into nap time as the body seems quite used to the evening naps it's been getting... tonight, however, I let the phone wake me and YAY for conversation and understanding and appreciation and most of all, acceptance of honesty... and then, back to the gym... after drinking more water today than usual and eating two un-diet type meals, I was just one pound up from yesterday, which is good cuz it's probably water... (which is about a pound for every 20 ounces)... 100 minutes on the Lifecycle machine later and here we are, a bit groggy (it's taken more than an hour to write this entry cuz I got distracted by searching for web pages and glancing up at the a global warming - cleaner energy program on the TV...
and now, as much as I'd like to go play at myspace or compile and upload the ramblings filling files, I'm gonna move over to the big green chair now... g'nite :)

z0tl if you are Serenity's altergo
No wonder we can't quite connect.
I mean I love most things,
but when it comes to people with two minds - I cannot love them double nor twice.
So Serenity gets All My Love
and z0tl shares in the yin yin
speak for yourself, i'm totally connected into teh quasarverse!
what 2 mind:z? i've at least 8. & candyhere prolly 1o8 like the lotus of 7th chakra or sumptin sumptin...
yes, Z, but so many of my minds have been silent of late, I almost might pass for a normal individual :)
Q - it was braised duck with mushroom caps in a thick brown sauce, more sweet than hot... I've had better duck, but it was good and an excellent portion and the mushrooms were excellent (I love mushrooms)... I ate the whole slippery meal with plastic chopsticks too (it would have been easier with wooden ones, but then, that's a waste of trees)...
thanks for stopping by and leaving some words :)
Yay for duck, though I've never had it...I think I must try it. And yay for appreciation. And yay for hearts that are so big and concerned and willing to show they are big and concerned, even when no one else will ever know. Yay for z0tls and candoors and Quasars. Yay for self examination and acceptance and unconditional love. Yay for honesty and the anxiety that often comes with it. Most of all, yay for love.
