weekend at home
did I mention the MRI results came back this week?... I had to remind the Nephrologist that he ordered the test... doctors... apparently I have a couple of cysts... a 6.7 cm, well defined, nonenhancing cyst at the mid right kidney and a 4.9 cm cyst at the inferior pole of the right kidney... the report goes on the say that the cysts are well defined, do not demonstrate contrast enhancement or any solid components, no other renal lesion is identified, and there is no cortical thinning... a whole lot of other big words say there's nothing to fret over according to the radiologist and nephrologist... special, aye?...
I splurged on an Italian smorgasbord on Friday night and will have food for the rest of the week as I froze most of it... I tried the restaurant I found last time and for the second time in a row they impressed, which moves them into my #1 spot for Italian delivery food in the area... much joy was celebrated in my mouth...
Rasputin sits and farts and spends most of his time in front of the TV, and farts, even when he sleeps, so the TV is almost always on and there's been nothing worth watching for quite some time... we did go to see a local play, All Shook Up yesterday because I bought three tickets... the show was good, some poor performances and a few outstanding ones... the cast member we knew was the best in the cast, but she's widely known as having an amazing voice... in fact, two of the best voices the high school community has seen in years will be the leads at Precious' former high school this coming term... one is her best friend...
after the show we dropped Precious off at the smaller theatre where she is working the light board for the show Urinetown there... then we went to what Raspy calls one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town... the food was good, though I didn't get what I ordered... it was similar enough to enjoy it and contained all the ingredients I wanted except rice... we had Vietnamese coffee for dessert, wow, strong, sweet, what a treat... then we went to Jeremiah's for gelato (ices and ice cream)... all charged up and ready to fly, we then came home and Raspy sat down in front of the TV and fell asleep and I bounced around the place, pausing to roam around the web now and then (and eventually
the phone rang twice today... the first time it was Bert and Berry, two friends I used to work with who moved to northern Washington state and now have two specialized foster care homes within site of the Canadian border... they work in placement for the state and will be taking in kids who need evaluating and placement... they'll care for the kids for 30 days (or less when feasible), evaluate the kids needs, and find the best placement available in the community... they expect to have kids in it next week and are sounded excited about the challenge and the new income... they definitely deserve the success and are perfect for the job...
the second call was from Precious... she and her friends saw Transformers and during the movie Precious had major leg cramps and numbness... we went down her diet, activities, and other symptoms over the phone and it sounds like she shocked her muscles with not eating anything nutritious for a few days... she'll drink some vitamin water or gatorade and call me if any symptoms come back... she had no other pains, no discoloration of skin or nails or pupils, no signs of anything I could think of that might have caused the leg cramping/numbness... she says she ate nothing but a bag of cheese doodles yesterday and doesn't remember if she ate anything the day before, probably ice cream or some candy... today she had McDonalds and probably more candy... she's supposed to be seeing the doctor on Wednesday for her tonsils (she still has them and they flare up several times a year) so I reminded her to bring this up and will tell Raspy I suggest she has a full check up with blood work (especially checking her electrolytes, glucose, and iron levels)...
today at home was an all couch potato day around here... the typical weekend day: Raspy wakes and turns on the TV, nods off while I'm talking to him, stares at the TV when he wakes, hears about 20% of anything anyone says to him, goes into his room leaving the TV on... after a little while, I get up and turn off the TV and lights... shortly thereafter, the process is repeated... somewhere during the day he'll cook something and leave the dishes (and often the food) out on the stove and counters... Precious runs basically the same routine unless she gets a friend over to pick her up and take her somewhere (and Raspy has money to give her)... the last few days I don't think she's eaten much other than snacks because she hates to cook and almost never cleans and would rather candy and junk snacks than any real food (and she considers McDonalds real food)... sadly, she just keeps gaining weight and refuses to acknowledge the health risks she's setting up for herself... my influences have no effect on her at the moment as she's free to do as she pleases with her diet cuz Raspy dislikes cooking just as much and his diet is basically steak or chicken and beans or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches when he's home...
it is about time for me to head over to the gym, so that's about all the reflecting on life and whatever I am going to do for this entry... I appreciate it when you stop by to leave a few words... some days it's the only interaction my brain gets from humans...
luckily, I still get telepathic signals from my home world :)

Not relly sure how I found my way here - but I'll be back :)
wonderful, new blood... I mean, a nice new friend-to-be (is the beware of the z0tl sign still up? :)
you'll get the inside jokes after a few entries, I think, but feel free to ask any questions you've got, I love answering questions...
though when answering a series of questions, I sometimes rearrange the answers just for fun :)
I mean no harm, just like to play with my head (and anyone connecting to it is dragged along, hopefully not kicking and screaming :)
I love my comment-friends, they are almost as much fun as chocolate :)

hi lo
the e friendz are funner with the not so real although they are real in the alt universe over one notch way...ie they feel real to them and you feel unreal to them and you feel unreal to yourself when the power goes out...
Candoor, This post is priceless! I could NOT stop laughing while reading about Rasputin. I am a little concerned about your cysts, but it sounds like you have a handle on it. Really fun visit today!
man i think you should change your sex back and go for eric d, he really would be good for you + give you an enema every now and again, that skill comes in handy. oh wait, he's the code blue guy, mkay, fine, resuscitate me now!
lo:z? whoa, dood, you really are popular once more.
eric, this is so true... profound, even... ridiculously profound... but my first thought was how excrutiatingly adorable Milla Jovovich is in The Fifth Element (not that's real...
holly, thanks, and I didn't even emphasize the frequent farting he does... he's a great guy, really, even better when he's awake...
z0tl, yeah, back in the day when candora was pouring heart and emo all over the web, many did assume I was a girly girl... or even a girly-man, as the good folk of SNL used to say... I'm not really into enemas, though back in the insane party days, I did have an enema bag hanging from the cieling... we'd fill it with liquified mind-altering substances, or alcohol when we got boring, and used it orally...
I suppose you see why I no longer blog about my rather sordid past, aye?...
it's a great party you're throwing here... I'm happy I could make it... it's wonderful to be here... it's certainly a thrill... wanna come home with me?...
lovely :)
