with a side order of irony
while most serve up turkey with all the trimmings and eat even more than the usual obscenely excessive daily consumption, i continue wondering who the turkey really is in our culture and look in the mirror... with a side order of irony...
i will celebrate this holiday when the red people are given more of their land, rights, dignity, culture, pride, self-respect, and self-esteem back…
until then, this particular cultural holiday is the day i step back and remind myself just how collectively insensitive, selfish, piggish, greedy, in denial, neglectful, deliberately ignorant, arrogant, and cruel we are as a society and culture…
and i am very thankful i can still remember this…

Happy Thanksgiving
oh for fukkssakes eat the turkey while you can afford it.
& if you wanna lament about the oppressed folk, why don't you start with the transylvanian z?tl and his etarded cousin the siberian vitaLka?
i desire to extinct a species. evylness now. i'm thankfool for knowing you tho. tree or not.
i eat, i just don't celebrate what others celebrate... i celebrate my awareness and sensitivity and compassion and respect...
and i am thankful (and thankfool too) for knowing you too :)
i've never been a big fan of turkey though... among the birds, duck is my favorite... but given my druthers, lasagna would be my party meal of choice (and usually was when i did the cooking at my house :)
thanks for stopping by and caring today :)
