and so this is normal
and so this is normal...
a day just like any other day... people are waking up, washing the night out of their eyes, rushing around their houses, kissing their loved ones goodbye, rushing out the door... people are rushing off to work here and there, rushing to their cars, rushing to airports for morning commuter flights to big business cities, people are hustling into cars, on to subways, rushing to get to their big ivory towers, to their offices so they can be on time for thier nine to five lives...
a day just like any other day...
I wake by alarm clock not long after sunrise and hop in the shower and momentarily ponder what to wear and what to eat and why life is like this and have I gone mad and is this a dream and then, out the door into a parking lot of cars where a major road should be... a seven minute drive (sometimes done in six) takes twenty minutes (note to self: allow more travel time tomorrow, not to mention more shower time, food time, dressing time, and time time... and oh yes, get to sleep earlier too) and enter bleary eyed a world that smells of cheap perfume, toothpaste, deodorant, weak cologne, and strong coffee... suddenly I am a lot lonelier than I was yesterday...
human beings are quite insane, now I am sure...
I'll try not to catch too many diseases... did I remember to trim my nails?... clean out my ears?... I do have clean underwear on, right?... note to self: buy electric razor... can I turn on the music?...
have a nice day J (bug-eyed)

It all sounds so normal :)
As my grandma always used to say, "Just make sure you always have on clean
underwear."
I can't wait to hear how it all went on your first day of normal!!!
Hugs!!!!!
