a few minutes before work
for what it's worth, I am appreciating the surrealism of one hand clapping these days...
or maybe I'm just hearing wake me up when September ends in my subconscious and didn't even realize it cuz my conscious mind has been absorbing new work information and procedures and databases and email and all sorts of big and little details that make up the new job... the world is still out there, right?...
I'm having fun, sleeping more, getting to the gym, and eating better... yay for separating from bad habits, even if it's lonely... I'm too busy to notice that until I write though... and that makes your comments mean all the more (I hope you feel the thanks I feel)...
I'm having fun at work too, even though the person training me (who will continue sharing the office) seems to be on the extreme side of OCD and controlling (and they's what sloppy people at work tell me I am, what a coinkydink) and I might have to wrestle to job away from her in a few days (but she's fun and we're having fun delineating our respective office tasks as we compare our desire for perfectionism)...
of course with me it's all a front (or so I convince them so they'll laugh with me and still take the organizational initiatives seriously)... it's gonna be a cool little officeonce we settle into our own desks and spaces (we have a third t the moment at my desk, until tody at least, so we share her desk)... kinda like The Breakfast Club (there's a big poster of the cast on the wall because she's a big fan of the film {me too} and I can certainly relate to it cuz I lived it in many ways)...
so the new job is no hassle and the kids don't have the flu, but it's sure nice talking to you, yeah, it's sure nice talking to you...
