temporary entry

ah, the sound of screaming masses (that has so many meanings I don't even want to get into, but I was pretending you are millions demanding more, rather than a few nodding off)... it'll be more amusing later, I hope...

I'll be back later, probably, with more actual entries... I spent the last few days scouring the web for the latest information about all the different parts of a computer, considering which parts were best for me (the best or the most economical or somewhere in between) and whether I should buy all the parts at their best prices on the net and put the machine together myself (Dr. Frankenputer creates a monster, news at 11) or engage assistance at the local computer shop willing to put parts together or order the precise system I want from somewhere or settle for a pre-packaged system (and any way I look at it, that would be a compromise as no manufacturers put together systems for the customer's needs, really, unless it's a custom made-to-order job which they charge ridiculously for)...

I also dragged my roommates out to the computer store to look around (Precious is supposed to get a laptop for college when she finally starts, so she was eager to look around more) and we also ate out several times (cuz that is the way here) and we went clothes shopping for Precious because I promised her a clothes shopping spree when she got a job and she starts at Sears on Friday... we'll be doing another shopping spree for clothes for her very soon because we only had an hour left after computer shopping (cuz we didn't get out until 3pm cuz nobody wakes up around here until afternoon and 3pm was early to get us out of the house)...

anyway, I'm going back to online computer parts research now... I just wanted you to know I didn't die orand I am not leaving the internet... and I missed you...
